RELEASE: Doug Ford's Shady Deal with Elon Musk Exposed, Again

Toronto, ON – Following the Trump administration’s tariff announcement, Doug Ford is reminding the people of Ontario that he has failed to protect the people of this province and Toronto for the last seven years.
Earlier today, Doug Ford backtracked on his shady deal with Elon Musk. Bonnie Crombie, Leader of Ontario’s Liberals, issued the following statement in response:
“I've been calling to rip up the sweetheart deal Doug Ford gave Elon Musk on Starlink since inauguration. Glad it's finally happening. But let's be clear: this contract never should have been signed in the first place. Just another backtrack by Doug on his backward priorities.”
Today, as Doug Ford once again backs away from his shady backroom deal, we have the following questions:
- Nearly 700,000 people in Toronto don’t have a family doctor. Why has Doug Ford given money to rich Trump insiders, like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, instead of getting people a family doctor?
- Does Doug Ford regret his $100 million attempt to suck up to Elon Musk? Why didn’t he rip it up sooner?
- What is the cost of cancelling this contract – which should have never been signed in the first place since there are Canadian companies that can do the same work?
- Will Doug Ford cancel other lucrative contracts with his U.S. buddies at Amazon, Staples, and Walmart?
